Obstructive sleep apnea and snoring affect millions worldwide, but traditional CPAP machines, surgeries, and oral appliances often fail due to discomfort, saliva pooling, nocturnal choking, and severe jaw or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain.

Developed in collaboration with National Cheng Kung University, the Saliva-Drainage Anti-Snoring Oral Appliance provides a comfortable, patient-centered alternative that solves these compliance issues:

1 . Ergonomic Tongue Depressor: Depresses and stabilizes the tongue forward and downward to keep the airway open without relying solely on aggressive jaw advancement, preserving TMJ health.

2 . Continuous Saliva Drainage Grooves: Capillary channels guide saliva toward the back of the mouth, enabling natural swallowing and eliminating nocturnal choking.

3 . Custom Medical-Grade Polymer Fit: Intraoral digital scanning ensures an anatomically precise, low-profile fit that reduces tissue abrasion, evenly distributes bite pressure, and promotes natural nasal breathing.

By addressing snoring, apnea, fluid management, and joint pain in a single non-invasive design, this device provides a long-term, sustainable sleep solution.
