Print & Editorial Design
This project is a print and editorial design centered on traditional Taiwanese floral tiles found in historic houses and heritage architecture. Through photography and graphic composition, distinctive tile patterns are documented and reinterpreted into a calendar format.
The design emphasizes visual hierarchy, grid systems, and consistency across a 12-month layout. Each page highlights the ornamental qualities of the tiles while maintaining clarity and readability of calendar information. A soft, retro-inspired color palette is applied to evoke a sense of nostalgia and cultural familiarity.
By transforming architectural details into a contemporary editorial design, the project bridges past and present, turning a functional calendar into a visual narrative that reflects Taiwanese cultural identity and everyday aesthetics.
